STAWELL Police were kept busy on Monday night as members uncovered two cars travelling through Great Western with drugs in them.

At about 12.45am, Stawell Police intercepted the first vehicle on Main Street, Great Western.
Acting Senior Sergeant Eddie Malpas said after searching the vehicle, an amount of cannabis was located.
"The driver, a 28-year-old man, was processed at the scene by way of a Cannabis Caution," he said.

Acting Senior Sergeant Malpas said about one hour later another vehicle was stopped by members.
"A search was conducted with cannabis located in the driver's possession," he said.
"The South Australian man, also aged 28, was also processed roadside by way of a Cannabis Caution.
"These incidents should serve as a reminder to those who decide to drive whilst in possession of drugs that we are out on the road 24/7, and will intercept you when you least expect it."
