Ararat police officers intercepted a dark-coloured BMW which was acting suspiciously in Ararat on Monday night, just before midnight.
After searching the car, officers located three garbage bags full of suspected cannabis in vacuum sealed packages.

Victoria Police spokesperson said it believed the street value of the cannabis is in excess of $800,000.
"A 55-year-old Braybrook man and a man from Sunshine North were both arrested and are currently assisting police with their enquiries," they said.
"The two Vietnamese nationals are expected to appear in court today to face charges including traffick a commercial quantity of drugs and possess cannabis."
