TWO people have been arrested after police seized a large amount of drugs in Stawell.

A search warrant was issued from Northern Grampians Crime Investigation Unit detectives at 9.45am on October 23.
A Police spokesperson said a man and a woman were arrested and a large amount of what is alleged to be heroin, methylamphetamine and cocaine was seized when the property was searched.

"A 73-year-old man has since been charged with traffick methylamphetamine, possess methylamphetamine, traffic heroin, possess heroin, traffic cocaine, possess cocaine and possess proceeds of crime," they said.
"The Stawell man was remanded to appear before Stawell Magistrates' Court on January 20, 2021.
"A 23-year-old woman was charged with traffick methylamphetamine, possess methylamphetamine, traffick heroin, possess heroin, traffick cocaine, possess cocaine and possess proceeds of crime.
"The woman, also from Stawell, was bailed to appear before Stawell Magistrates' Court on January 5, 2021."
