Benjamin James Wilson, 37, briefly appeared by videolink before Magistrate Simon Zebrowski in Horsham Magistrates Court.
He has been charged with six offences altogether: Two counts each of intentionally causing serious injury and recklessly causing serious injury and one count each of unlawful assault and unlawful assault with a weapon.

Wilson was charged on Sunday after the alleged incident on October 17.
His lawyer Simon Torpey said his client would not apply for bail.
Wilson will appear for a committal mention on January 20, 2021.
