RUBBISH issues are always a hot topic of conversation at a local level, but many people don't know what to do when they see illegal dumping.
Northern Grampians Shire Council maintain our tidy towns, communities and rural environments and welcome residents to report illegally dumped rubbish or littering.
Concerns about littering anywhere in the municipality can be raised with the Shire's Community Safety Department, or by completing an online form.
If any residents sees any illegal dumping of rubbish on roadsides or in public places, please ring the Community Safety Officer immediately on 03 5358 8700.
The Shire also welcome the use of the Snap, Send, Solve app that's available for free from the App Store and Google Play which also allows for instantaneous reporting of issues around the shire.
More information can be found on Council's webpage www.ngshire.vic.gov.au/Council-Services/Bins-recycling-and-waste/Illegal-dumping.
