Stawell SES responded to calls about clearing trees from Landsborough through to Halls Gap.
Deputy controller Brody Steward said it was disappointing to see people failed to slow down while passing the crews who were working.
"As most people know when approaching or passing a slow moving or stationary emergency vehicle you must slow or be slowing to 40km/h," he said.

"Unfortunately today not only did people ignore that rule they put our members at risk by passing our vehicles on the wrong side of the road while we were at jobs.
"If our vehicle is parked in the lane of traffic we have put it there for a reason.
"Please stay in your lane until our members call for you to pass. It's a very simple thing to do that will keep everyone safe."
