The case was featured in a podcast, released on Sunday, called Casefile: True Crime series.
The podcast has led to renewed calls from Mr Martin's sister, Bev Roberts, and her quest for information about where Mr Martin's body is located so she can "lay him to rest".
A Victoria Police spokesperson said any new information received would be investigated thoroughly, however police would not be providing a step-by-step narrative in relation to the investigation.
"Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential crime report to www.crimestoppersvic.vic.gov.
"This investigation does not currently attract a reward.
"Every case is different and rewards will be posted where investigators believe it is operationally appropriate to do so.
"Victoria Police do not comment on any prospective plans for reward announcements regarding our active investigations."
