A junior delegates meeting was hosted on Wednesday night, outlining some of the new return to play rules, under Cricket Victoria's coronavirus restrictions roadmap.
Junior players have been a key focus for association president Marc Brilliant since he joined the executive committee.
He said those players were the future of the sport, and the association were looking at ways they could grow the competition and get more juniors playing cricket.

Cricket Victoria announced the return of representative cricket for regional Victoria. Brilliant said it was an opportunity for young players who wanted to find pathways in the sport to get a head start.
"It's gone to a tiered competition now which will suit Grampians Cricket," he said.
"We think the players will be more competitive in this structure as it will be a level playing field.
"Players who are absolutely in love with cricket will be able to navigate their way through pathways."
Brilliant commended Cricket Victoria for their guidance for clubs and parents to help keep juniors involved in cricket.
"Each club is required to have a child safety officer within the club," he said.
"Everyone has a role to play in providing a safe and supportive environment for children and young people.
"It's important for clubs to make sure they have a child safety officer in place."
Brilliant said for the 2020-21 season clubs were still looking for players, and in particular from ages 13-16.
"You don't have to have played cricket before to come and join in and have a go," he said. "There are plenty of people around the clubs and through the association who can help players brush up on their skills and get them comfortable with playing the sport if they've never picked up a bat or ball.
"We're also appealing to those players who might have played a couple of years ago to come back on board and have a go this summer.
"Clubs and the association are keen to have a chat to any players who might be interested. I'm sure there are plenty of players out there who are keen to get out of the house and play sport with their mates."
Interested players can contact the association via Brilliant, secretary Nic Baird or junior vice president Geoff Phillips.
