Stawell Tennis Club has put out a call for expression of interest for players after the coronavirus restrictions in regional Victoria were eased this week.
The committee is working tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure competitions, or social tennis can go-ahead for its members, returning and new.
A key area the committee is focusing on is its junior competition, president Anna Sullivan said it was important to keep the young players engaged with the sport.
"Those players are the future of the club so it's important we make sure we can accommodate their needs," she said.

"Of course, we're also looking into our other competitions because we know people have really missed playing sport.
"We are being guided by Tennis Victoria in what guidelines and restrictions we must follow. We should have more information as the days and weeks progress."
Mrs Sullivan said with almost 100 junior players attending on a Saturday morning - it was imperative a competition or social tennis went ahead for juniors.
"At the moment we aren't sure what that is going to look like but we need to know how many players are interested in getting back out onto the court," she said.
"We're not sure what it will look like - but we're hoping junior sport it can be back to normal as tennis is a non-contact sport where it's quite easy to social distance."
Mrs Sullivan said the club not only provided an outlet for exercise, but it could be done within a family-friendly environment.
"We have a fantastic set up at the venue where it is all enclosed and we encourage families to bring their children along and the 'tennis family' help keep watch," she said.
"Sometimes coming along to tennis is about the socialising with a bit of tennis and exercise thrown in.
"The committee is working hard at ensuring we can find a way to continue on with striking that balance of the two in a safe manner."
Players can register their interest on the Stawell Tennis Club's Facebook page.
