"Road policing is one of our key focuses at Stawell and across the Northern Grampians Police service area.
"One of the common factors we deal with and subsequently target is impaired driving.
"Ultimately, if you are driving a vehicle with prohibited drugs in your system, you are impaired and you pose a risk not only to yourself, but to the wider community."
The male was bailed to appear at Stawell Magistrate's Court at a later date.
