Residents from across the region are invited to make a heart, or take a paper heart from the container out the front in Scallan Street, Stawell, decorate it, and write things they are thankful for.
Program co-ordinator Sue Huddleston said finding creative ways of supporting each other during these times of restriction were challenging.
"Sometimes it's hard to see the good things that happen in hard times, our time of restrictions may feel like a time like that," she said.

"Finding things to be grateful for can change our perspective.
"So we thought being thankful would be a good theme for our first exhibition. What better way than to use hearts of thanksgiving to do it. We hope many people will participate and help us appreciate that we are all in this together."
Ms Huddleston said it was an outlet for residents to see "there is still a lot to be glad about" and to share the message of hope.
The contributions will be laminated and tied on for people to enjoy.
