It's a blow for the club president Jason Oosthuizen said - 2020 was the year to consolidate on the work done to get the club up and running in 2019.
"It's disappointing but as a club we have tried to manage the coronavirus situation as best we can," Mr Oosthuizen said.

"It was inevitable as the positive cases of COVID-19 have continued to rise.
"We've got a tough time ahead now with keeping up that momentum and keep engaging with the community of Stawell regardless if we are on the field or not."
Mr Oosthuizen said the club added an extra team and had more than double the amount of juniors involved in 2020.
"It's obviously an issue out of our hands and it's a tough balance to keep the juniors engaged and make sure the community is safe and COVID free," he said.
OTHER NEWS:
"We'll be discussing the options of maybe doing virtual training sessions for our juniors and getting them engaged through technology.
"That might help keep them active and interested in the sport and we can consolidate on the work we've already done and nurturing the programs we were running."
Mr Oosthuizen said the club would be looking into some practise matches and friendly games when restrictions allowed.
"We'll see if these are inter-club matches or if we could possibly stay within a small region," he said.
"We will wait and see what the league suggests we could do within the restrictions at the time and make our decisions then."
