No new cases have been recorded in Horsham, leaving the total of active cases at 4.
There are no active cases in Ararat.
The Horsham community has taken steps to curb the spread of the coronavirus in the Wimmera.
St Brigid's College closed on Wednesday, with the DHHS confirming a year 12 student had tested positive.
In a letter to parents, principal Peter Gutteridge said the school would remain closed for the rest of the week while a deep clean of the school took place.
Mr Gutteridge told parents the school would work with DHHS to trace any potential contacts.
AFL Wimmera-Mallee has advised football-netball clubs to stop training until further notice, as the governing body works to get a better idea of the COVID-19 situation in the region.
COVID-19 UPDATE:
Victoria recorded 484 new cases in the past 24 hours - the highest daily toll confirmed in any state or territory to date. The new cases bring the state's total amount to 6739 since the pandemic began, 3408 of which are active.
Of the 484 new cases 97 are linked to known outbreaks, while 387 are under investigation. 205 people are in hospital, 40 of which are under intensive care.
Two mens in their 90s died overnight, taking the total death toll to 44 since the pandemic began.
Premier Daniel Andrews revealed that of 3810 people between July 7-21 around 90 per cent did not isolate between first showing symptoms and getting tested.
About 50 per cent did not isolate between getting tested and receiving a result.
Chief Health Officer Brett Sutton said about one-third of people contacted by authorities for contact tracing purposes were not picking up their phones.
"For maybe a third of the people we're following up on a daily basis, they're not picking up the phone. So, if you're getting that unidentified number, that may well be the [Health Department]."
"If you've got a result [pending] ... please answer the phone," he said.
