Owners Merv and Meg Butterworth and Hamilton reinswoman Jackie Barker each recorded a double at Stawell last week with the Butterworth runners Duty Bound (Grant Campbell) taking out the Warren Earthworks Pace over 2180 metres and The Bull Pen (Kerryn Manning) successful in the Renown Silverware Pace over 1785 metres.

Duty Bound was restrained to the back of the small field from his wide draw and Campbell was content to wait until the 500 metre mark before making his move.
The former NZ'er proved much too strong over the concluding stages and registered a 4.5 metre victory over Seeking Thoughts (Tim McLean) in a rate of 1:59.2.
The Bull Pen showed his usual gate speed to lead from outside the front row and driver Kerryn Manning set a solid tempo throughout the 1785 metre dash to score by 1.4 metres from Rocking Tess (James Herbertson) and Marjorie Jean (Jackie Barker).

Jackie Barker's double came up courtesy of Jaden Gil in the Hillcroft Stables Trotters Handicap over 2180 metres and Vanity Bay in the 2180 metre Trackside Bar & Bistro Pace.
Settling three back in the moving line after starting from the 20m handicap, Jaden Gil finished brilliantly over the final stages to pip the pacemaker Eoghan Omaille at the post with Keepthedream 9 metres astern in third spot.
Jaden Gill is raced and trained by "Team Ainsworth" from Moriesk and the victory took the 10yo gelding's career record to 13 wins from 150 starts.
Trainer Aaron Dunn's lightly raced 5yo gelding Vanity Bay provided the second leg of Barker's double.
After settling mid-field in the running line from it's second line draw, Vanity Bay did plenty of work racing three wide from the bell before dashing away in a 27.8 second final quarter to score by 11 metres.
Rainbow owner/trainer Stuart Cocks made it to the winner's circle at Mildura last Friday afternoon with his 5yo gelding Frankntank.
"Frank" with Simon Jardine aboard, had raced outside the leader for the 2190 metre journey and looked to be a sitting shot for the $2.30 fav. Glenavril Girl at the top of the home stretch.
But to the delight of the Cocks/Perkins clan "Frank" pulled out plenty over the final stages and got the judge's nod for his 6th career victory - all at the Mildura circuit.
Former Ararat, now Charlton team Michael Gadsden and Denbeigh Wade enjoyed success at Bendigo on Saturday night with 7yo mare Markleigh Jill.
Wade gave her charge the run of the race in the one out, one back spot for most of the 1650 metre trip, edged out three wide turning for home and quickly overtook the leaders to score by 3.4 metres.
Her well deserved, 9th career victory broke a broke a run of 23 outs since her last at Ouyen.
