Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, the energetic band of older Stawell residents would meet once a week as part of the Grampians Community Health social support group.
"Each Wednesday night we would catch up for dinner and a chat," Stawell's Dot Tangey said.
"But all of that changed once coronavirus came in."
Confined to her house since February, Mrs Tangey said she initially thought she would be the last thing on anyone's mind.
"You would think you would be forgotten about, but not with Grampians Community Health; they are wonderful," she said.
"Initially, we received a care package, with things to do during the shutdown.
