"The club understands that this decision may be disappointing for many members, but the safety of our community is the highest priority," the Grampians Giants said in a statement.
"In the absence of a football and netball season this year, the club will now explore other ways to keep our members socially engaged and physically active."

The Wimmera Regional Sports Assembly's Access All Abilities program manager Nic Baird said there were plans for players to get together later in the year.
"We're looking at doing something later in the year when we're able to, whether it's football or netball or a different sport, we'll all get together and do something together," he said.
Baird also encouraged players to still practice their skills on the football oval and netball court.
