Fire burns bushland in Ararat | Video
A SMALL fire in Ararat just off Blake Street has burned just under an acre of bush Wednesday afternoon.

The fire occurred about 3.30pm west of the Ararat showgrounds and was brought under control in less than 15 minutes by members of the Ararat Fire Brigade.
Police also attended the scene.
Acting Sergeant Mitch Kohn, of Ararat, said investigations were continuing into the cause of the fire but at this stage it was not being deemed suspicious.
