The event is run by the Minyip Progress Association. President Don Orr said this was the third year it had been held.
"One of the progress association members is involved in classic motorbike collecting and he was the one who initiated the event," Mr Orr said.
"Although it's only a one day event, we got about 800 people to come last year which is great for a small town like Minyip.
"A lot of people travel a long way for it with their cars and bikes."
Mr Orr said all money raised through the event would go towards the Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia.
"It's in honour of The Flying Doctors (the TV show which was filmed in Minyip)," he said.
"The event is free to attend, so we raise the money through entry fees."
He said the event would offer something for everyone.
"We'll have a jumping castle, billy kart racing and face painting for the kids. There will also be a car boot sale and some market stalls," he said.
Prizes will be given out to the best car and bike in show, along with a people's choice award.
The 2020 Minyip Show and Shine will be held on Main Street, Minyip from 9am to 3pm. Presentations will be at 2pm.
