Sharp, humble in is win, said after talking to other clubs, he wasn't aware of any other players achieving the same amount of championships by an individual.
"I think there is a lady at the club who got up to about nine or ten, so I'm pretty honoured to have won so many times," he said.
"We started with 22 in the draw for the championships. Every year that the draw is put together you look at it and think how the players would match up against each other in each game.
"Every year there are definitely some surprises with some upsets early. Sometimes it's the bigger fish who get knocked out early - anything can happen on the day."
Sharp went up against Donny Austerberry in the final and got off to a great start, to lead 7-0. Austerberry got going to try bridge the gap, Sharp then won most of the next 10 ends to move to an unassailable 24-8 lead before getting the last shot required to take out the championship.
"The semi-final was a bit closer than the final," Sharp said. "There are still some nerves there before you get into the game. I can fell my opponent's nervousness more than my own. Even in the early matches leading into the finals, you can come up against brand new bowlers who can be in the lead early. Anything can happen, doesn't matter who it is."
Sharp, who has competed in the region's group sides championships on 10 occasions and came third in Victoria in the 2019 State Singles event said he enjoyed playing team events the most.
"When the team has success and wins grand finals and regional final as we have done twice now, bowls is a great game that you can play for many years," he said.
"Bowls is a great sport that you can play into your 90+ years, and the fellowship of playing in a team is very rewarding."
The champion of champion event will take place at Chalambar on Febrary 16.
