The season will commence on April 18.
Ararat Eagles will host its first game in the opening round, a chance for supporters to go along and get a sneak peak of some heavy recruiting during the off-season. The highly anticipated game for football fans between Great Western and Ararat Eagles will have to wait until round two, hosted by the Lions.
A re-match of the A Grade grand final between Glenthompson-Dunkeld and Woorndoo-Mortlake will take place in round seven, May 30.
The senior football grand final re-match between Great Western and Penshurst takes place in round 10, June 20, also named the Sock it2MND round.
Reserves' footballers wont have to wait as long to see how they stack up against last year's best, with the grand final re-match between the Lions and SWM Rovers to be contested in round five, May 16.
The season will have a winter holidays bye for all clubs on July 4. With 12 teams in the competition, the mid-season break will come at a crucial time to teams planning for the season.
Mininera's finals campaign starts with qualifying and elimination finals on August 23 and 24. Semi finals will be on August 29 and 30, the preliminary final to take place on September 5 and grand final, September 12.
