DETECTIVE Sergeant Williams said the Major Collision Investigation Unit left Horsham just after 1pm on Friday.
"There are no updates yet. We're still making inquiries in Victoria and South Australia, and investigations are ongoing," he said.

POLICE say they are "no closer" to solving Thursday morning's hit-and-run on Dimboola Road, Horsham which killed a cyclist.
A Horsham man, 24, died as a result of the incident which occurred about 6.30am.
The road was closed between Jenkinson Avenue and Curran Road for several hours while police investigations involving the Major Collision Investigation Unit took place.
On Friday Major Collision Investigation Unit Detective Sergeant Darren Williams said investigations into the cause of the incident were ongoing.
"We are no closer to solving what happened," he said.
"Police are still out and about in Horsham (Friday) morning trying to find CCTV footage and are after the public's assistance.
"We're taking an umbrella approach and are looking for information from any trucks that were coming through Horsham between 6am and 6.30am.
"Dashcam footage from Dimboola Road or Natimuk Road between those times would also be helpful, especially if it included footage of the cyclist before the collision."
Detective Sergeant Williams said he hoped police would be closer to determining the cause of the incident by the end of today. He said witnesses to the incident, or anyone with dashcam footage, could call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
The crash took the number of road deaths in the Horsham municipality in 2019 to five, compared to two in 2018.
