Services running both to and from Ballarat have been heavily impacted by the industrial action from as early as 6.08am on Monday morning.
This has resulted in a number of train services running with reduced carriages while others have been cancelled entirely, forcing commuters onto replacement coaches.
This comes after services were heavily affected on the Ballarat line on Thursday, 12 December and the Ararat/Maryborough line on Friday December 13.
A number of commuters have taken to social media to ask V/Line why these disruptions weren't more widely announced, causing the public transport agency to point to an early December media release.
The release states that "Some services may also be disrupted on Monday 16 December. We will keep customers up to date via our website, the V/Line app and social media."
The industrial action is affecting all V/Line services across the state.
Some commuters have asked V/Line whether services later in the day may be affected, which the public transport agency has been unable to confirm.
"We will do our best to minimise impact for the remainder of the day and continue to work towards this. However, any service change updates will be updated via our website and social media platforms," said the V/Line twitter account to a curious commuter.
