Proceeds will go towards the Emergency Relief Committee which is made up of five church groups in Ararat and provides year-long support to those in need.
The event is the church's main fundraiser for the Christmas appeal.
This year the committee will provide toys to 120 children and make about 100 hampers.
"This year (the appeal) is called Share the Christmas Spirit," committee member Howard Hutchison said.
"Emergency Relief is a government-funded organisation but the hampers and the toys are all by public donations and fundraising events like this."
The sale and fete will take place on Saturday from 9am at the church, corner Banfield and Coad Streets.
