Patrons will be officially welcomed by comittee member George Holden at 12.45pm on Saturday.
Mr Holden was on the inaugural committee when the show first started, 57 years ago.
"I was a member of the young farmers and we were called to send two representatives to a meeting the Rotary Club hosted to re-form the Agricultural Society," Mr Holden said.
"I went along with Michael McMurturie and at the second meeting which I couldn't make he got the job of machinery and the only job left over was groundsman which I got that."
For years Mr Holden organised the side shows and many stands and now makes sure the arena is right to go.
"I love being on the committee with such a wonderful group of people," he said.
"My memory goes back to people who have passed on and who started the show and their enthusiasm is something I want to carry on."
One of those committee people is Josie Joynson who joined as the secretary in 2019.
"The role has been a really steep learning curve," she said.
"I like to keep myself really busy and like to get out and about and help out where ever I can within the community.
"The biggest challenge of the role would have to be trying to work out exactly what I need to do.
"Next year will be better as I've laid the ground work."
Ms Joynson said she was grateful for subcommittees who have helped "tremendously".
