Six gardens in Stawell will be on view from 10am on Sunday, October 26. The gardens have not been open to the public in the past.
Auxiliary president Merrilyne Middleton said she was overwhelmed from the support of the community.
"It's a big thing to let the public into your property and we're very grateful for the property owners to open their doors," she said.
"We had 270 people attend two years ago when we last hosted the event. We're hoping to get that many again.
"We haven't got a particular item in mind to purchase at this stage but we are talking with the hospital and the Macpherson Smith Nursing Home about what is needed."
All gardens but one are wheelchair friendly and the organising group will supply a light picnic lunch on registration.
Registration is from 10am at the Stawell Neighbourhood House with a cost of $20 per person.
