Mrs Pilgrim, 55, was last seen at about 6am on Sunday, October 13, at Pearce Road, Sedan, about one kilometre west of Dry Weather Road, where she had been camping with friends.
Concerns for her welfare intensified as the days went by without any sign of Mrs Pilgrim.
Police launched a wide-scale search of the area on Sunday when the alarm was raised, and over three days the police helicopter, SAPOL's STAR Group, State Tactical Response Group, Murray Mallee police, Mounted Operations and SES volunteers and drones were used.
Police had planned to return for a fourth day of searching on Tuesday, yet received information late that night which led to her discovery.
A member of the public, who owns a bush block in the Sedan area, had been intermittently logging onto his CCTV cameras remotely as he was aware of the search for Mrs Pilgrim.
On Tuesday night he noticed that 'SOS' had been written in the driveway of his property, which hadn't been there earlier. He alerted police who went to the property and began a new search.
About midnight, Deborah Pilgrim was found on a neighbouring property where she had access to water.
She was taken to the Angaston Hospital as a precaution, but appears to be in good health.
Police wish to thank SES volunteers and the numerous local property owners, many of whom searched the own properties on foot and horseback to assist with the search.
