Last time the Mininera League sides met, Penshurst lost by only four points.
For the Lions, playing the grand final is everything they could have hoped for after more than three decades with no appearances.
Coach William Bell says the side is fighting fit and ready to do battle.
As if the day couldn't get any better for Lions supporters, the reserves have also booked a spot in the grand final and will face the SMW Rovers.
Both reserves and seniors have elected to take a calm, strategic approach in the days leading up to Saturday.
Reserves coach Matt Delzotto says he doesn't want players burning through too much nervous energy.
The club is celebrating a separate victory as well - reserves player Luke Notting received Mininera League reserves Best and Fairest.
But it's not just football players preparing for Saturday - supporters have flooded the town of Great Western in red, gold and blue.
Just about the whole town is behind the Lions and excitement has been building all season.
