Minyip-Murtoa has shocked many of the league's followers, stringing together a near-perfect season and rightfully earning its place in the upper echelon of the competition.
Standing in the other corner are the Horsham Saints; a side who have been here before and are chasing a momentous third-consecutive premiership.
But, finals are a fickle business, and with a place in the grand final at stake, anything can happen.
"The finals pressure is there for every team, I think. I think its' the adrenaline of finals time that gets you up and about and causes you to lift," Minyip-Murtoa coach Billie Bibby said.
"The adrenaline and the excitement and emotions of knowing that you've got this far that makes you lift... and it's knowing that you can't take finals for granted, at all."
Both sides will arrive at Dimboola well-versed in finals netball, with two games already under their belt in this season's campaign.
"All the teams have been tough so its good to be up against tough opponents up until the end. It definitely prepares you for the next one," Horsham Saints coach Shannon Cross said.
"Everyone steps up and tries to perform the best that they can in their role and gives it everything they've got."
The Burras and the Saints have shared history at Dimboola.
In 2017, the Horsham Saints recovered from an eight-goal deficit at half time to claim the grand final by a single goal against Minyip-Murtoa.
The following year the Saints saw off the Burras in an elimination semi-final, Dimboola again playing host.
Billie Bibby expected it to be another close contest this season.
"It'll be a very tough game. It's always a very good battle between us and the Saints that's for sure," she said.
The two teams enter the contest following contrasting results last weekend.
The Saints claimed a nine-goal semi-final win against Ararat, while the Burras missed their chance to go straight through to the grand final, going down by 30 goals against Horsham.
Shannon Cross said a resurgent Minyip-Murtoa would pose a threat.
"They've had a couple of tough losses, and I'm expecting them to bounce back and not let us get into the grand final," she said.
"We're not taking it lightly. I think they will bounce back and give us everything they've got."
Bibby said the Burras wouldn't leave anything on the court as they fight to keep their premiership hopes alive.
"I suppose we're just lucky enough that we've made finals, knowing that there are a lot of teams and girls out there that have never actually played in a final," she said.
"You just can't take that for granted, and you've got to grab it with both hands."
