Over 280 schools competed in the competition, and Marian College came away with eight awards of their own.
Nearly 50 Marian College students took part in a performance that told a story about drought-affected farmers in Broken Hill and the impact of climate change on mental health.
Year 10 student Zoe Rigby explained the student's story choice.
"A lot of our local farmers are going through it, and all over Australia, and we just thought we'd make people aware, because not everyone is aware of this situation," she said.
Matilda Cranstoun, year 10, said the experience was "stressful but rewarding."
"It was really enjoyable to have a team that you trust and finally get to the end of the hard work with and see it," she said.
The performance was awarded: Best public speaking, Best minimal use of sets props and costumes, Best lighting design and call, Excellent Ensemble, Excellent Group Dance, Amazing Projection, Excellent Supporting Cast, Excellent Theme or Concept.
Zoe said the recognition was "really rewarding."
"Whenever our name was called the whole school would just be so happy, and we would clap for other schools whenever they got awards, and it was just a really good vibe to be around," she said.
