The fundraising event will coincide with an annual open day, club golfer Michael Harricks putting the idea forward to organisers.
"I've seen other clubs participating in fundraising events and thought it would be a good opportunity for Chalambar," he said.
"All the money raised goes towards the Challenge foundation who play an important role with children with cancer.
"Many golfers can relate to Jarrod Lyle, or the cause."
Diagnosed with cancer three times throughout his life, Lyle is said to have understood the hardship young people and their families face when battling cancer.
"Jarrod was an ambassador for Challenge, and Jarrod's Gift is the legacy which is created in his honour," Harricks said.
"The fundraisers are hosted in August as it was the month of his birthday and passing.
"The club has jumped on board and so have has support from the local businesses and community.
"I hope we get some really nice weather and I encourage everyone to come along and enjoy the course and have a round of golf celebrating Jarrod's legacy."
