Event organiser Cherrelle Nicholson said she was over the moon with the result.
"We had more people enter their arts and crafts," she said.
"We had more people visit the festival than we've ever had before and also a bigger range. We haven't sat down and gone over everything - we're all exhausted from the big weekend but it's been fantastic."
Mrs Nicholson said people attended from all across the region.
"We haven't done a final tally but I think we have raised more money than previous years," she said.
"Some people can't get out and do markets. This festival gives people a goal to keep busy all year round and an avenue to sell their items.
"The comments we have received about the demonstrations has been very heartwarming."
