Up against Noradjuha-Quantong, the Baggies celebrated the 1989 reunion in style with a comfortable 19 point win.
Donning the red and blue jumper in honour of their predecessors, the Baggies relished at the opportunity to jump back up the ladder for the 2019 season.
After a tough few weeks, Swifts got the start they needed to put pressure on the scoreboard early.
Co-coach Daniel Parkin unleashed from the centre and claimed the first goal for the Baggies.
Parkin finished with three goals for the day and was named as one of the best players.
"Daniel did what he does during the game," co-coach Scott Carey said.
"He kicked some crucial goals when needed.
"Our backline was as solid as a rock. Liam Scott has come back into some form after some issues with his groin and Angus Murray just keeps surprising people with his ability to affect the contest.
"Ryan Folkes is one of those players that if you have the ball you need to give it to the right player at the right time.
"If Ryan is forward of the ball it's too damaging not to give it to him and utilise his speed and pace."
In parts, the game was played as tough contested football.
"I felt like we won a lot of the ball around the contest," Carey said.
"It was a contested type of game - we were able to win more football than we lost."
During the second quarter, the Bombers were able to claw themselves back into the game, outscoring the Baggies.
"The message at half-time was a reminder not to take a step back and repeat previous mistakes," Carey said.
"In previous games this season which we have lost we have been in a position to take the game on and take it over.
"Unfortunately we have let that slip in the past few weeks."
The Baggies came out firing in the second half and held the Bombers scoreless in the third term.
Carey said his players were able to follow through with some structured game plans.
"We did have to adjust a couple of times," he said.
"Adjusting on the fly is something we have been working on this season.
"We were able to adjust some little things when we needed to and make it work."
Noradjuha-Quantong coach Gareth Hose said he was disappointed with the third quarter.
"It was the last 10-15 minutes where we let them get a real run on," he said.
"We were down to one on the bench - it really came down to the boys slogging it out."
Tyler Bye and Riley Dunlop didn't finish out the game with injuries Hose believed weren't serious.
"Our younger players really stood up today and took the next step in their footy," Hose said.
"Wade Francis, Jack Vauge and Josh Freeman were among those players and I was impressed with their game.
"We're still working and getting more consistency in our play which is pleasing from a coaches perspective."
