Stawell SES was called out to "about half a dozen" incidents on Wednesday night and Thursday morning.
"It was mostly incidents of storm damage with trees across roads and trees in backyards," Stawell SES deputy controller Brody Stewart said.
"There looks to be another front coming through in the next day or so. People should make sure loose items are secured and they aren't out on the road unncessarily."
The Stawell Sports and Aquatic Centre was one of the worst hit on Wednesday night, with the roof above the basketball stadium blown into the centre's car park.
"The strong winds must have gotten underneath some of the sheet metal and blown the roof off," Northern Grampians Shire Council head of active communities Emma Gray said.
"We had to close the stadium and move our holiday program but it was repaired throughout the day."
