That timeline outlined erection of the glasshouse would commence in April and start to be fitted out from July 1, both of which are still months away.
Nectar Farms chief executive Stephen Sasse said work is still being done on the design phase.
"We are working hard to finalise designs. A wide range of detailed design work which needs to be done for all of the systems," he said.

"That is all progressing well at the moment."
Mr Sasse said once designs are finalised they will be closer to beginning construction.
"We hope to finalise the design to the point we can reach financial close towards end of this month or possibly early August," he said.
"We are out in market at the moment getting prices for some aspects so there is a bit of talk among happening with local contractors."

Mr Sasse said delays with a project such as Nectar Farms are "inevitable" but he is "cautiously optimistic" things will pick up soon.
"You put a timeline together with every intention of meeting it but the nature of projects like this is they slip several times," he said.
"Our current best estimate for the start of earthworks is September this year, with roughly a 12 month construction program."
