The Baggies tried to match the 2018 runners-up, with lifting intensity but unable to steady around the ring.
Swifts goalkeeper Erin Freeland had the unenviable task of guarding Laharum's Caitlin Story, who claimed 50 of the 79 goals.
Laharum dominated the first half, going into the break 40-17.
Swifts fought back and held the Dees to six fewer goals in the second half.
Coach Courtney Morrow said she was yet again impressed with Freeland.
"Week in week out, she does her job and holds her head up high," she said.
"It doesn't matter who she plays within the ring, or against, she conducts her self the same with the same effort.
"I think as a whole team we did really well today, Laharum is a good outfit and gel really well."
Morrow said she felt while out on the court the score was a true reflection of the game.
"Some of our goals didn't drop and at times, that was the difference," she said.
"I thought we ran out the game really well, despite the large margin."
Laharum coach Caitlin Story said she was pleased with how to team are building on an overall focus on their first quarter performances.
"It's been really good to come out in the first quarter really strong and give us that lead and just takes the pressure off," she said.
"We identified last season this was an area we needed to focus on.
"Our defensive pressure was right up there today and I think we worked really hard on that today."
