Welcoming the visitors to Balmoral, the Southern Roos surged ahead with an eight-point lead at quarter-time.
Roo's Amy Lewis was a standout in her first game back from injury for the season.
The sharpshooter nailed 16 goals in the first term and continued finding the middle of the ring in the game, ending her day with 58 of the 67 goals.
Lewis worked the ring with Samantha Crick, playing goal attack for the first time this season.
Roo's coach Ebonie Salter said despite the strong start for her team, Swifts still applied court pressure.
"They (Swifts) kept scoring as well, so we never really felt comfortable," she said.
"They scored a lot of goals throughout the game - despite the 23 goal scoreline, it certainly didn't feel like that out on the court."
Salter said she was happy with the way her team worked the ball down the court.
"We really have focused on our transition and our ball movement - so far it has been working well for us and it did again on Saturday," she said.
"As teams start to break that down we will need to adjust that but we'll just keep trying to improve in that area."
When looking ahead to the rest of the season, Salter said she was happy with how to different combinations worked on Saturday.
"We had some players move positions from one end of the court to the other," she said.
"We do have a lot of depth - it's probably been a bit of a build up and a credit to the work we've been doing over the past few seasons.
"I am really happy with where we're at. It's a really tough job to know what combinations and team to pick every week - it's a really good problem to have.
"Hopefully we can keep pushing and as the team showed yesterday we can adjust to any position and combination and keep our heads down and keep working hard."
Swifts coach Courtney Morrow said despite the loss, there were some positives to come out of the game.
"We were down on the scoreboard from the get-go but I felt as a team we really pushed ourselves for the full four quarters," she said.
"Harrow-Balmoral is a very strong and quick team and had a great transitioning play.
"It was a tough day out for the defenders. Sarah Morris had her first run in defence for us and worked well with Erin Freeland.
"Unfortunately, their shooters were just too good for us on the day."
Morrow said moving Morris to defence was something she had in mind from the start of the season, bringing in new combinations and trying new things.
"We should be winning a few more games than what we are so we're just mixing some things up and trying some different options," she said.
"I think the interleague bye worked in our favour giving some players rest with some niggling injuries.
"We are working on changing our game style slightly as the season moves on and we've played a few teams now and are working around our strengths and weaknesses."
