CFA spokeswoman Jenny Close said crews from Dadswells Bridge, Glenorchy and Stawell brought the Deep Lead fire, at Flat Rock campground, under control at 1.37 pm.
"That fire is now extinguished and the crews are inspecting other campsites in the area," she said.
Ms Close said four vehicles then extinguished the Bellfield campfire, near the intersection of Silverband and Grampians Roads, at 1.54 pm.
Meanwhile, Ararat's firefighters have just extinguished a small blaze in a drum on Montgomery Street.
Ms Close said the fire was lit without a permit during the fire danger period, which ends on May 1 in the Ararat Rural City Council area.
Monday's incidents come as a planned burn three kilometres east of Halls Gap continues.
Forest Fire Management Victoria is burning 2237 hectares around the Boronia track. The organisation said crews would patrol the edge of the burn regularly and deal with hazardous trees.
