The organisation raised $35,594 this year, the most it has ever raised in decades of participating in the mass fundraiser.
Stawell Fire Brigade's Reg Smith said it was great to see so much raised for the appeal.
"It isn't easy work but we do it to make sure kids who have it hard can get all the help they need," he said.
"We are a few thousand up on last year and this was the most we have ever raised which we are obviously really happy about."
Mr Smith said Jim Leithead's vintage car display at Pomonal helped generate a large portion of the money raised.
"We probably would have been a bit down if it wasn't for Jimmy's show," he said.
"What he did was amazing and hopefully we can do it again in the future."
