People travelled from across Victoria and even South Australia for the unique competition held from Thursday to Saturday.
"It was a great weekend, we had a lot of spectators come across the few days of the trials," Moyston Sheepdog Club president Max McLean said.
"The trials are themselves are quite unique. For a little town like Moyston, it's an annual event that attracts a lot of visitors and is a real drawcard.
"We had a good crowd on Friday night for roast dinner which was good to see."
South Australia's Anthony Ireland made it back-to-back open final wins, taking home the main prize with his dog Oakdowns Byn.
"A couple of their trials have dropped off across the border so we get a few South Australian workers which is good to see," Mr McLean said.
Mr McLean said works are already underway for the 92nd installment of the event in 2020.
"We have already got next year's judges lined up," he said.
"Things are getting a bit harder with less people but we have our sights well set on 100 in a few years time.
"We only have a small committee but it is a good opportunity to bring the locals together to chip in to make it a success."
