The Warriors will welcome former Hawkesdale-Macarthur and Hamilton footballer Charlie Nield into the fold in the coming weeks.
The big man has comes across with a strong goal-kicking record, having previously booted upwards of 50 goals multiple times for Mininera league club Hawkesdale-Macarthur.
Stawell Warriors coach Damian Joiner said he is excited to add to his side's forward line.
"He is a strong centre-half-forward that kicked quite a fair few goals in the Mininera league," he said.
"He has been playing some county cricket in England so clearly he is quite an all-round athlete."

The Warriors also added to their forward line with a played from the state's south-west, recruiting Portland's Jay Moody late last year.
Cody Driscoll will also provide another avenue to goal for the Warriors. Driscoll missed the 2018 season due to an ACL injury after moving from Navarre at the end of the 2017 season.
Joiner said the side's forward line is looking promising.
"Those signings we have made this year have bolstered the forward line massively," he said.
"It is pretty exciting to have a key centre-half-forward in there, it gives us the option to change things up a bit and have that different avenue to goal.
"We will still run the same style of game. just with a tall target which really bolstes bolsters that plan."
Joiner said Nield will play most of his football in the forward half.
"He will be that key marking option but at times can be used as a pinch hit ruckman too," he said.
The 2019 Wimmera Football League season is fast approaching, with the Warriors taking on Southern Mallee Giants at Beulah in round one on April 13.
"The season is coming around pretty quick. We have had a solid preseason with good numbers on the track," Joiner said.
"Everyone has been buying in throughout the summer so we are really excited for what lies ahead."
The Warriors will take on Donald in a practice game at North Park next weekend.
