Game one between White and Green was all tied up at half time with 10 a piece.
The swift shooting of Hayley Young and Katrina Hope dominated in the second half scoring eight points each, both top scoring with 10 points total for the game.
The five players from White proved too strong for Green, who only had four players on the court, over running them 28-20.
Experienced players, Michelle Beaton and Deb Slorach top scored for Green with eight points each.
Game two ended a one-sided affair between Red and Gold.
At half time it was anyone's game with gold three points up.
Georgie Larkin removed any cobwebs she had in her shooting game and dominated the second half for the Gold team.
Piling on five baskets in the second half, Larkin top scored for the game with a total of 16 points.
Gold ran away with the win in the end over Red, 30-19.
Next week Red will compete for their first win of the season as they take on White in game one.
Gold will look for a perfect start to the season as they take on Green.
Organisers of the competition have encouraged anyone who wants to play a game of social, fun and inclusive basketball to come along and meet the players and organisers.
Games are played on Monday - starting at 1pm.
