Exact attendance figures are yet to be determined but festival director Carly Flecknoe said it was at an all-time high.
“The Saturday night turnout was absolutely amazing and Sunday was also pretty incredible,” she said.
“A lot of people headed back to city on Sunday so it was a small, intimate crowd around the stage on Sunday which was pretty special.”
Ms Flecknoe said there were positive signs for the event to return next year.
“We have had a lot of feedback from patrons and volunteers saying they will be back next year,” she said.
“There were a few rowdy guys on Saturday night but otherwise it was all smooth sailing.
“The acts were so giving, the crowd was warm and welcoming and the overall atmosphere was great.
“We fully intend to bring the event back again next year.”
Grampians Tourism chief executive Marc Sleeman said the event is key to drawing attention to the region, especially from Melbournians.
“It is something we will continue support into the future,” he said.
“Events are a great way to improve front of mind awareness. When you have some of the names that played over the weekend that draws the attention to the region which is what we are after.
“Our biggest issue at the moment is awareness and getting people out here, but we have great success once they get here and see what there is to offer.”
