Stawell
- January 25: Show ‘n’ Shine car event
- Australia Day Pool Party at the Stawell Sports and Aquatic Centre from 2pm-5pm, with free entry, pool inflatables and Australia Day tattoos available
- Official Australia Day proceedings from 6pm at Cato Park. Ambassador and AFL legend Robert DiPierdomenico will address the community and make presentations to the Australia Day award winners.
- Family activities including a jumping castle, face painting, petting zoo and a free barbeque with drinks to buy will also be a part of the festivities.
- January 28: Stawell Harness Racing Australia Day meet
Great Western
- Great Western ‘Show and Shine Street Party’ will run from 11am-2pm in Cubitt Street, Great Western, and features a swap meet, street food, buskers, jumping castle, face painting and more for community members.
- January 27: Great Western Cup
Halls Gap
- Australia Day Pool Party at Halls Gap between 11am-3pm, with free entry, free barbecue, face painting and music
- Mount Langi Ghiran pop-up cellar door open at Halls Gap HUB with wine samples
St Arnaud
- 8am barbecue breakfast in St Arnaud thanks to Lions and Rotary clubs
- 9.30am Australia Day awards presentations and morning tea served at St Arnaud Town Hall courtesy of Kara Kara Country Women’s Association. Harness racing trainer Maree Caldow to address the community as part of the celebrations.
Marnoo
- Australia Day breakfast from 8am at ‘The Hall’, which will be provided free of charge by the Marnoo Country Women’s Association, where a raising of the Australian flag and singing of the national anthem will also take place.
Navarre
- A cooked breakfast and flag raising ceremony will also greet those who attend the 8.30am Australia Day celebrations in Navarre, which all takes place at Navarre Park. St Arnaud’s Hugh Jackson will be attending the event as a guest speaker.
