Despite finishing second in the minor premiership, Delahunty Plumbing are brimming with confidence, entering the grand final on a four-game winning streak.
It included a narrow victory over their fellow grand finalists two weeks ago.
Delahunty Plumbing's strengths appears to lay in its men's division. Mick Sullivan, Angus Williams and Seth Blake have been nothing short of dominant.
The trio will be hoping their supporting cast, led by Howard Dunn, can hold their own against Stawell Toyota's feared men’s combination.
The Stawell Toyota brains trust would've had a busy week following a second consecutive loss leading into the grand final.
But it certainly won't be panic stations as experienced campaigners Sue Blakey and Anna Sullivan have been in similar situations in the past and will help younger players focus on the task at hand. They will have an arduous task however, of getting the upper hand of the Delahunty Plumbing ladies, with Madi Freeland leading the way and being well supported by Jade Ralph and Kate Field, who are both in good touch.
The result may just come down to which team handles the magnitude of the occasion better.
In the supporting act, Grampians Joinery is pitted against Frewstal, fresh off their second win of the season. The action begins at 6.15pm.
