Michaela Armer will take charge of the C Reserves side while Stephen Ashley will become one of very few men in the Wimmera to coach a netball side, taking the role as C Grade coach.
Mr Ashley has had previous netball coaching experience but never in western Victoria.
“I coached junior and senior sides in Melbourne for about seven years,” he said.
“I haven’t done so for a few years but my daughter joined the club last season and when I saw her playing and she started asking me to coach again I thought why not.”
It is quite rare for a male to coach netball in the region, but Mr Ashley said he is ready to embrace the challenge.

“I am quite a player-centric coach and I really like for the players to lead themselves on the court and use me for guidance,” he said.
“Ultimately finals would probably be out main goal, but we will come together as a group when the squads are picked and set out what we want to achieve this year.
“I don’t believe you have to be a certain gender or even have played a certain sport to be a good coach at it,.
“I can’t wait to get stuck into it.”
Swifts netball director Naomi Hoffman said she is rapt to have all coaching roles filled.
“It is amazing to have it all organised so far ahead of the season, we will put a focus into recruiting now,” she said.
