FRIDAY
HORSHAM Country Music morning melodies from 10am at the Horsham RSL. Entry is $15.
EDENHOPE Tourism Information Centre sausage sizzle and cake stall near the Bendigo Bank between 11am and 2pm.
SATURDAY
HORSHAM RSL trivia night from 8.30pm at the RSL. Up to eight people per team. Registration is $10 per person.
WIMMERA River parkrun at Horsham’s Sawyer Park from 8am. Must register if first parkrun on www.parkrun.com.au/register.
THE annual Salvos Charity and Toy Bike Ride departing Natimuk at 9.30am for Roberts Avenue in Horsham. The ride supports the Salvation Army’s Christmas Appeal, which helps local disadvantaged children.
SUNDAY
DANCERS Zone annual showcase at 2.30pm at the Horsham Town Hall. Tickets can be purchase via the town hall website or box office for $20 per person.
STAWELL show market at the Stawell showgrounds between 9am and 1pm.
POMONAL Village market day at the Pomonal Community Hall between 10am and 2pm.
HORSHAM Aquatic Centre’s pool party at the aquatic centre between 12pm and 3pm. Entry is $7 per person.
ALL WEEKEND
HORSHAM’S Kannamaroo Festival starts on Friday with a street party on Firebrace Street from 6pm. On Saturday, the committee has organised skiing on the Wimmera River at Sawyer Park from 11am to 6pm followed by a twilight festival at Sawyer Park. The skiing will continue on Sunday between 11pm and 5pm. The festival will wind down with an open air family movie night at the Horsham soundshell at 5.30pm.
HORSHAM Regional Art Gallery exhibitions including Raquel Ormella: I hope you get this, Amabile Dalfarra-Smith: A line through landscape and Rod McNicol: Portraits from my Village are open all weekend. The art gallery is open on Friday between 10am and 5pm, on Saturday from 11am to 4.30pm and on Sunday at 1pm to 4.30pm.
