Round six included two games, as two teams forfeited, while Halls Gap had the bye. 

The most exciting game heading into round seven is Pomonal taking on Swifts-Great Western. 

Pomonal took charge over Wickliffe-Lake Bolac when they finished their innings at 2-276, with Rick Oliver and David Padley both making an unbeaten 109 and 104 respectively. 

Pomonal also boasts an impressive bowling line-up, with Wickliffe-Lake Bolac finishing its innings at 9-138 with Ryan Nellthorp the pick of the bowlers, taking three wickets for 28 runs from eight overs. 

Swifts-Great Western had much more of a tussle when they took on Youth Club. 

The Combine won the toss and chose to bat first, and finished with 5-241 with Craig Marrow the pick of the batsmen making 63 not out. 

Youth Club did what they could to send some nervous thoughts into the Swifts-Great Western camp, but even with a century from Gary Martin it was not enough as Youth Club finished its innings at 6-230.

Tom Robinson did the most damage with the ball for Swifts-Great Western, taking three wickets for 26 runs off eight overs. 

Buangor-Tatyoon and Rhymney-Moyston didn’t play last week and return to action against Halls Gap and Wickliffe-Lake Bolac.

Navarre returns to action this week, when they take on Youth Club.
