In what was one of the closest matches of the season, Buangor-Tatyoon managed to just get over the line beating Halls Gap by one run.
Thomas Thewlis was a stand out again for Buangor-Tatyoon making 83 not out.
Buangor-Tatyoon set a total of 3-184 for the Gappers to chase in their innings.
It came down to the wire, Gappers David Turner top scoring with 52 not out.
Thewlis and James Phillips claimed two each of the Gappers wickets – who finished 5-183.
Surprise package Pomonal was unstoppable to claim their first victory in the 2018-19 season.
Up against Youth Club, Pomonal posted a 4-226 chase for the match at North Park.
With not just the bat going Pomonal’s way the ball did as well, bowling out the Clubbers for 159.
Swifts-Great Western put a stop to Rhymney-Moyston’s dominant start to the season.
Winning the toss and electing to bat, Rhymney-Moyston made 5-155.
Craig Marrow did his bit for the Combine – 88 runs helped the team reach the final score of 5-176.
Ladder leaders Chalambar proved too good for Wickliffe-Lake Bolac after finishing their innings 4-169.
Wickliffe-Lake Bolac were bowled out for 76.
Chalamabar’s Shaun Smith taking four wickets and Sam Pilgrim claiming three.
Chalambar won by 93 runs.
