Students have gone from strength to strength developing their spectacular show stopping dance routines.
The following genres will be show cased in an extravaganza: Creative dance, classical ballet, contemporary, hip hop, jazz, tap, cheer, acrobatic and the new Ready Set Dance.
As part of this year’s show, we have a Ready Set Dance featuring dads and daughters. Ready Set Dance is a new program that will be offered in 2019 for students aged 2-5.
The classes are designed to give boys and girls confidence, coordination, creativity and major emphasis on fun. Its for girls who like to twirl on their toes and boys who like to bust some moves.
Nationally accredited teacher Linda Grigg is the proud owner of District Dance Studio and principal teacher of Stawell Ballet School for three years.
She has been involved with Aldgate Ballet Studio in South Australia, Minsk Choreographic School USSR, The Victorian College of the Arts, Melbourne, Dance Factory, Richmond, Bolshoi Ballet, Russia. Linda has worked alongside Stawell Ballet School Committee to achieve a safe supportive environment for students of all ages.
The skills that have been developed over the past few years are phenomenal. Linda’s commitment to develop dance and give greater opportunity to local students in the Stawell community will continue in the future.
