Chalambar was too strong at home against the Ararat team in Division 1, Gary Todd setting up the win with a big 25 shot win over Steve Hitchcock.

Stawell hosted Aradale and there was nothing in the match for most of the day. The two rinks skippered by Andrew Cray and Andrew Sharp were all square with one end to play for the second week in a row but managed to win both ends again for the win.
Stawell Golf was back on the winners’ list with two big wins, with Greg Reading and Brian Adamson in full control. Landsborough's Will Hodgetts managed to get a rink for the visitors.
In the last game, Ararat V.R.I were hoping to be competitive against the strong Lake Bolac combination and got one of the best wins for a long time getting all the points. The loss saw Lake Bolac drop from top of the ladder to fourth.
DIVISION 2
Lake Bolac Black got one of the best results when you are on the bottom of the ladder with a comprehensive win over a depleted Stawell Golf Blue at Lake Bolac, Phil Meek had the best win for the home side.
Stawell Blue at home was too good for the Stawell Golf Gold combination Terry Ellis did manage to get some points for the visitors with a win.
The only away team to win for the weekend in both divisions was Ararat Gold who played Ararat Green at Ararat, Laurie Tonkin had a great win to set up the victory.
Stawell Gold ventured down to Lake Bolac Red and the result came down to the last end in the match with Stawell getting the 2 shot victory. Aradale were back at home and set up a great win with Brian Richards in full flight over Arthur Bullow to keep in touch with the top four on the ladder.
On Sunday, November 4 the Grampians held the Men’s State Pair sectional play at the picturesque Stawell Golf Green, there were four sections with 16 teams entered,
In section 1, Andrew Sharp and Neil Coates won all three of their matches to progress through to the playoffs with three close matches.
In section 2, Wil and Robert Hodgetts managed two wins and a draw to progress through as well.
In section 3, Brian Adamson and David Kaczynski needed to win the last match to progress and also won all three match to move to the elimination matches.
In section 4, things were a bit closer with Andrew Cray and Brenton Russell winning the first two matches but going down in the last match, Gary Sherwell and Gary Jamieson lost their first match by 2 shots but with two good wins in matches 2 and 3 progressed through to the next round.
